High Speed Bag Gluer for Continuous Flow-Through Operation
Applications
The GS-1000 Series Glue Sealers are designed for durability and intended for high-speed, 3-shift per day operation. By creating two 3/4“ (19mm) folds, a strong, sift-proof closure is created that is easy for the end user to open. The GS-1000, intended for use with lined bags, and features an added seal section with cast iron heat bars to seal the inner poly liner prior to folding, while the GS-1000S is for bags without a liner that only need to be glued and folded.
Smooth Continuous Sealing Operation
- Bag top is trimmed.
- Bag is creased 3/4” from the top of the bag.
- Bag top is folded down 90 degrees at the crease.
- The bag is creased again 3/4“ from the top of the first fold.
- Glue is applied as the bag enters into the folding mechanism to be folded for the second time.
- The bag is transported through the 40“compression section.
Rotary Trimmer
Standard on the GS-1000 Series models is a rotary trimmer equipped with special twin blades for consistent bag top trimming. With a cast
housing providing precision alignment, each bag top is trimmed prior to entering the first creaser.
Sharp, Crisp Folds
To assist in the folding process the bag is scored by creasers before entering through our patented jam-proof folder mechanism,
which provides precision fold quality for straight and even folded bag tops. The unique design of the jam-proof folder allows unevenly fed or damaged bags to pass through the machine without jamming. The folder is spring-loaded with hinges for easy access maintenance or bag adjustments.
Glue Application
Dual-axis glue gun mount allows for the precise adjustment of the glue nozzles, allowing for accurate placement of the adhesive and strong, reliable seals.
Compression Section
The compression section applies consistent pressure to the fold ensuring a strong, quality seal and can be adjusted for varying bag thicknesses.
