Doboy S-CH

Applications

With twice as much heat sealing surface as our CBS-D 1500 series continuous band sealers, the Doboy S-CH is designed to seal up to 8 mil. thick material, heavy-weight bags, without sacrificing speed or efficiency. This machine is ideal for a variety of bulk product applications such as fertilizer, resins, titanium dioxide, garden products, agricultural chemicals, pet foods, and many more.

Construction

The main frame components of the S-CH are designed with extensive castings and cold-rolled plate steel for dependable operation even in the most adverse conditions. The floorstand is constructed of welded tubular steel with a hand crank for vertical height adjustment. Guarding is constructed of both painted sheet metal and polycarbonate, providing increased visibility during production. Guarding is equipped with safety interlocks for safe machine operation.

Bag Top Control

Full-length, 1“ (25mm) wide steel cord reinforced, urethane timing belts with a nylon tooth cover securely grip the bag to provide positive bag top control. The timing belt minimizes maintenance and wear.

Sealing Bands

PTFE-coated fiberglass sealing bands help provide stronger seals on gusseted bags and dramatically reduce wear on the heating and cooling bars. The sealing bands are self-tracking, self-aligning and can be replaced in under two minutes without the use of tools!

Single Point Gap Adjustment

The heating and cooling bars along with the compression rollers on the Doboy S-CH are mounted to a special indexing plate with a calibrated reference scale readout to allow bar gap adjustments from one central point. This eliminates the need to adjust each bar individually, saving time and providing precision adjustments. Doboy‘s unique gap adjustment feature also reduces wear on the bands and gives more precise control over seal appearance.

Safe & Easy Operation

Most machine functions, including the four independent heat zones, are controlled by a PLC and settings can be adjusted from a user-friendly Allen Bradley touchscreen, making this machine easily integrated with upstream or downstream equipment. AC variable frequency drive allows the machine speed to be set from the control panel with no belts or pulleys to adjust. High-product detection feature stops the machine when bags are overfilled preventing damage to the machine.
