Making Packaging Machines in the USA since 1946
Formally Doboy, the business was established in the early 1870s when a flour milling business set up shop on the banks of the Willow River in New Richmond. In the 1930s, the facility began producing and selling puffed wheat and rice cereal as Doughboy. As Doboy Inc., the company produced its first band sealer in 1946, a success that allowed Doboy to gain a strong foothold in the packaging machinery business. Doboy Packaging was purchased by SIG (Swiss Industrial Group) in the late 1980’s and in 2004, Doboy Packaging was purchased by Bosch Packaging. Bosch Packaging Technology Inc., then became Syntegon Packaging Technology, LLC in 2020.
